Petition Letter: To the Associate Dean(Academic),
This is a formal petition letter for late dropping ARTH 346 and PHIL 318, and Aegrotat standing in PHIL 382. These courses were failed by myself in the Fall 2022 term. I have been unable to receive Academic accommodations during my postsecondary academic career until November 8th 2022, due to a lack of ability to obtain a doctor to fill out the required paperwork. Due to the late application of my disability accommodations, I was unable to keep up with the required coursework, including readings and assignments, as a result of my struggles with my disabilities. Once my accommodations were applied, I was able to complete the work for PHIL 301 and PHIL 362 as well as most of the work for PHIL 382, however the accommodations were not enough to enable me to catch up on the coursework for ARTH 346 and PHIL 318 as well as finish the coursework for PHIL 382. My academic accommodations officer, Deb Bruce, is willing to support my request to late drop ARTH 346 and PHIL 318. The professor for PHIL 382, Joshua Mozersky, is willing to support my request for Aegrotat standing.
