Petition Letter: Hi I am a study abroad student who is currently taking STAT269 and has just been told that I need to take a Level 3 STAT course as well. I was having trouble logging onto my at home uni email, which I just fixed, so I couldn??t get the level approval confirmation for STAT269. Having received word that the Level 2 course is not enough for my year abroad, I am desperate to be put into another Level 3 course and STAT362 is the only course I have the prerequisites for. I really need this course to pass my year abroad and will be diligent in picking up what I missed.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: As I am taking 2 level 1 ?discovery?? courses, my work load is a lot smaller than what it was last semester, so I think I will be able to catch up fine for STAT 362. I have also had previous experience working with R, so it shouldn??t be a massive jump in content from my foundation capabilities. As STAT362 is the only class I have the prerequisites for, joining is vital for me passing my Study Abroad Year. I will spend the time awaiting a decision refreshing myself on how R works and the statistics I have already learnt in 269 will support me.
