Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: My father has been having quite a bit of trouble at home so I've needed to spend quite a large amount of time in Toronto to help my mother take care of my siblings. Even with the given online resources CISC 271 is a class that I just was not able to keep up with and ended up missing an assignment and test. Even if I was able to make up the lost marks I don't believe it is a course I would be able to keep up with under the current circumstances. This is why I believe dropping the course would be the best course of action for me. Thank you for your time. If needed I can provide proof of his condition.
