Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello academic appeal board,
Ive been struggling with my mental health since first semester due to some personal circumstances that have greatly affected me the last year and a half. I didnt have the efficacy to keep my grades up dealing with my life. I was going through depression and anxiety. I would like to drop this course, as I am trying to make sure I can be effective as possible this semester in the class room, and be able to have a lighter course load this semester so I can be able to spend time with my mom in Chemo. Im not gonna take a break on school because thats something she would never want. Please let me know what can be done, as it would help me greatly.
