Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hi there, my name is Emma and I am currently enrolled in ASTR 101 which I attempted to drop on the final deadline date by logging into solus and dropping the course, it appears this action did not properly go through as I am still enrolled in the class. I have been working remotely at cafes as much as possible that I am finding nearby as I have had to travel constantly for work and live out of my suitcase for two months in various countries. Trying to keep up with all of my courses has been tremendously difficult, the internet connection was not very strong where I was at the time of my attempt, maybe that is why. I want to do my best and achieve strong marks, Between the time zones and constantly having to work I don't feel I have a sufficient amount of time to complete this course successfully which is why I tried to drop it in the first place. I don't want this to affect my other marks either. Your reviewing and understanding on this matter is extremely appreciated. Thank you for my time and I hope I can still drop the course.
