Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am an older online student working on my second degree (out of Vancouver). My family has been going through a rough patch with health (my children and myself). I'm struggling with bad anemia, my son is in the hospital with pneumonia, my husband and daughter are both running high fevers. To add to everything we might be moving (job) to another country. I have literally run out of time in the day and need to reassess things. Since I don't know when things will go back to normal, I need to make sure I don't completely ruin my GPA and standing...I have already missed a deadline for a 30% essay in personality Psyc. This whole situation is unfortunate, I'm really enjoying the courses I'm taking and HATE that I need to drop them, but missing deadlines and not being able to study for finals is not something I want to do and its causing more stress in an already stressful situation.
