Petition Letter: Hi,

During my first year attending queens (2nd year of university), I dealt with many mental health issues, such as impactful sleep dysfunctions, seasonal affective disorder, and ADHD. With the combined effects of these issues, it was extremely difficult for me to perform according to my regular academic ability, as even completing normal daily functions was a struggle. During Math 111 part B, I tried to book an appointment through student wellness and could not get an appointment with an occupational therapist for over a month and a half. Once this appointment happened, we could not make any meaningful progress because the next available appointment after our session was in May. I believe that these factors, combined with the inability to receive treatment during the duration of Math 111 part B, severely impacted my performance during this course and I would appreciate the opportunity to drop this course.
