Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am requesting to drop the course ECON 255. I originally took the course in the fall term of 2022 where I passed the class with a mark of D+. However, I was under the understanding that I had to get a C in the course as that is the requirement for the other required economics courses. After meeting with the economics advisor, Roda Mendoza, on April 4th she indicated that I only needed a pass in the class. The requirement for ECON 255 has already been met and there is no need for me to complete the course at this point. I am requesting to drop this course because I do not need to retake the course and would like the time to be spent on other courses during the final exam preparation.
