Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Appeal Letter: Dear Members of the Board of Studies,
I would like to first thank you for allowing me to Appeal the decision of Petition #10288. I understand Petition #10288 was denied due to the lack of documentation I was cognitively and physically capable of providing at the time. For context, then, I was navigating several debilitating and distracting, eventually diagnosed, mental health
disorders. Given my severe mentally illnesses, including diagnosed Major Depressive Disorder and General and Social Anxiety Disorders, and symptoms of Post traumatic Stress Disorder, I could not face anything reasonably or productively. Life was impossible. I could not coordinate additional information and documentation for Petition
#10288 – I could barely manage what was happening – if I was managing at all. I have provided all I have available currently and have requested additional police reports. While I await this document, I confirm I can get documentation from the police service involved that all is true, and the reports are being retrieved for this appeal. I have been told waits can be lengthy due to resourcing. Thus, I would prefer not to wait for to have them in hand as additional delays are compromising my recovery. And I really appreciate all the support.
