Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Dear all,

Sorry to bother you.
I am a third year Queens' student in statistic. My name is Qiyue Zhang, student ID 20199697.
This semester, I choose to start learning coding and try the course CISC 101 about coding by python. I always did the good job with a nice score in assignments. But I got a tribble score in final exam. This course will be failed if the student fail the final exam. And that is what I met now. After I knew, I also emailed Prof Windy to ask is there any chance to do not makes me fail this course. As my calculation, I can still get C with this final exam mark and the assignment marks before.
I know I am not a student who can do something well in exams, but this is the first time I will fail one course just because of one time exam. All my effort and work I did before just gone. I super want to do not give me an F in this course because of I failed in the final exam.
I am now third year student and I am preparing to do the application of master schools. This F really makes be cannot continually apply for the master school. But due to this unexpected F, which will make my transcript be much more worse than before.

I wish I can get a CR or DR if my professor still cannot allow me to use my final exam score to calculate my course GPA, which I can get 63/100. Although prof Windy ask me to retake this course again in this summer, but I have an internship work and also an award research program this summer, which I may have no time to also focus on school work. I still truly hope I can get the chance to have a CR for CS 101, which will not impact my overall GPA.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Best,
Qiyue
