Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I have experienced ongoing mental health struggles throughout university but nothing compared to this semester.
Shortly after the reading break of this semester I entered a hypomanic episode, followed by an episode of extreme depression during which I struggled to even get out of bed. During both of these I was unable to attend classes, or properly complete my work. The period of depression lasted until mid April, and I did not feel like myself again until the week of April 18th.
I am currently seeking treatment, under the direction of my therapist and family physician, but have been bounced between 2 family clinics and three psychiatrists in the last month and a half trying to get some answers. As of now, I have been given a working, but informal diagnosis of bipolar disorder and am on an urgent referral list to a clinic at the Royal Ottawa.
If you are able to look at my transcript you will see that my performance in this course is wildly out of character for me, I honestly was just trying to keep my head above water this semester and evidently that went very poorly. I have attached a letter from Student Wellness Services, and am able to get one from my therapist as well, but figured getting the petition in sooner rather than later was ideal, so can forward that letter as soon as I receive it.

I would ideally like these courses to be listed as CR due to the fact that they were the most impacted by my inability to work, and are not at all a reflection of my academic ability.
