Petition Letter: Hi there,
Unfortunately I misunderstood the course requirements to complete my online History degree. I was under the impression that the HIST 100 or 200 6credit course credential applied to my HIST 124 course I took in 2021; after calculating my credits, I realized these are two separate requirements.
In order to graduate at the end of this term and receive my full credentials, I will need to swap out one of my elective courses (ARTF 101) and replace it with HIST 125: The Evolution of Modern Europe in order to meet the credit credentials for graduation and completion. Unfortunately this course is only offered in the summer and I've been in the process of applying to teacher's college for a Sept 2023 start date.
My apologies for missing the deadline as this one approached faster than the other terms and I did not think to double check until it was too late.
I appreciate your consideration This has been a long journey since Sept 2020 and I'm ready to begin my next chapter in the fall if I can

Academic Plan: I have made an appointment with an academic advisor to ensure that I am on the road to success in time, I have a meeting with Jenna scheduled tomorrow afternoon but wanted to get the ball rolling on a course swap asap so I don't miss much from the new course.
