Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: The reason I was not able to add a class before the deadline was admittedly my own mistake. While doing research for summer courses I mistakenly opened the 2022-2023 schedule of deadlines which stated the final deadline to add courses was on the 13th. I only recently tried to add classes and upon failing to do so realized that the deadline was actually the 5th. I understand that my time planning was still pretty horrible as I had only realized my mistake 2 days before the deadline I had thought was for this year. I had a pretty bad cold for a couple days before now which put me off even further from adding summer classes. I will not make too many excuses though because it is my mistake and time management that has caused this much of a delay.

I do consider these courses very important to the continuation of my studies though, as I need the credits from the psychology course, and would like to improve my math skills greatly as I was not able to pass the course in my first year.
