Petition Letter: Good day,

SUBJECT: Appeal of Grade - IDIS 173

This email is in reference to my final grade for IDIS 173, which I want to appeal.

My name is Aliessa Hallal (Student Number: 20173019), I am a fourth-year Life Science Student graduating in June 2023.

After reviewing my OnQ grades, I observed that the Module 5 blog post assignment for IDIS 173 had not been evaluated in spite of submitting the required Word document and including the blog URL in the designated submission inbox as required before the deadline(and as done with previous assignment submissions that were successfully graded). Hence, I would like to kindly request urgently your assistance in rectifying this matter.

To provide some context, I have consistently strived to excel in this course, as evidenced by my strong performance throughout the semester. I have consistently received an A+ on majority of my blog posts except the one associated with the assignment in question, which was not graded. Considering the weightage of this particular assignment and my previous achievements, I firmly believe that the absence of a grade is not an accurate reflection of my overall performance in the class.

Furthermore, I observed that on Solus it shows a B grade in the class. I request my grade to be updated on Solus at the earliest and include the blog post assignment that was left ungraded on OnQ. I am confident that a proper evaluation of my submitted work will demonstrate my capabilities and warrant a higher grade.

I appreciate your immediate action in this matter, to review my assignment submission to ensure fairness and accuracy in the grading process. I consider this matter very important as it may affect my future goals.
