Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Earlier this year my dad was diagnosed with cancer. I was in the middle of my final semester at Queen's and I had hoped to graduate and then come back for a nursing degree. Unfortunately, things did not go to plan as instead of spending all my time studying or working part time at a local pharmacy, I was at the hospital visiting my dad. My dad passed away in March, I submitted an academic consideration which gave me two weeks off and then I tried to finish the semester as best I could. I was planning to graduate but I do not have enough credits which I only found out about after the deadline to add summer courses. I am hoping to take these courses to finish my degree and boost my gpa so I have a chance at my post-grad plans.
