I trust this message finds you well. I'm writing to discuss a pressing matter that is of considerable concern to me. I had enrolled in course FILM 260 for this term but have decided to withdraw as of today. I am fully aware that the deadline for obtaining a full refund was on the 10th of July, however, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I find myself in a difficult position.
Recently, I was unexpectedly laid off from my job, a situation that has significantly impacted my financial stability. Under the current circumstances, it has become extremely challenging for me to afford my education.
I am aware that a request for a full refund post the deadline is not a standard procedure. However, I wish to humbly request that a one-time exception be made in my case, considering the severe financial constraints I am currently grappling with. This is a unique and first-time request from my end, and I hope my situation can be considered sympathetically.
I am not asking for this lightly. I am hopeful that you will understand the gravity of my circumstances and grant me a full refund as opposed to the usual 50% refund. Your assistance in this matter would greatly alleviate my current financial hardship and would be deeply appreciated.

Academic Plan: As stated in my previous communication, I have been faced with unforeseen financial hardship due to job loss, leading to my withdrawal from the FILM 260 course. In addition to seeking a full refund for this course, I also want to share how this decision will potentially shape my future academic journey at Queen's.
It is my earnest aspiration to continue my education at Queen's University once my financial circumstances stabilize. I view this unfortunate setback not as an end to my educational pursuits, but a temporary pause that will eventually lead to a stronger comeback. I am actively seeking new job opportunities, and upon securing stable employment, I plan to re-engage with my studies.
In the interim, I have strategized to keep my academic goals alive by enrolling in online courses once my financial situation improves.
