Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
My name is Assane Kaba and I’m currently an interest student at Queen’s University — Arts and Science Online in the Global Development Studies program. I’m writing to you today to support my request for retroactive withdrawal of the class CISC181 on my schedule for the summer of 2023. I, unfortunately, had unforeseen circumstances, unpredictable in the cause of which I couldn’t abandon since I was already interested in the class and unaware of the circumstances that I was going to be in. I was unfortunately subjected to a decline in my health after the passing away of my immediate family member, and that’s why I’m requesting a withdrawal after the deadline. I don’t want my GPA to be affected negatively by something that wasn’t in my control, and I wanted to make sure I address the situation.
The dates suggested by the medical note were approximative, as I’m still currently recovering from an illness episode.
In the hope of a favourable response from you, I remain available at any point to give precisions on my request.
