Petition Letter: Hi there,
In the fall semester of 2022, I had a series unforseable circumstances which compounded with what is likely a pre-existing undiagnosed mental health condition.

I studied from home in Toronto for the fall as I only had two more courses to complete before graduating and I thought it would be a good idea to use it as an opportunity to save some money on rent. However, after a whole life of normalcy I came home to see my parents relationship fall apart in the early stages of what feels like nothing other than an inevitable divorce. Besides traumatic, what this did was force me outside my home, and with nowhere comfortable to go I wasn't able to complete schoolwork to any meaningful degree.

In brief, these unforseen cirumstances compounded with what has always been an extremely problematic condition. I'm still not sure what it is (I've tried over the past few months to find a clinic which can offer help and a diagnosis, but it is prohibitively costly), but I have an incredibly difficult time keeping my brain in one place, it almost feels like I'm a computer and someone else is choosing what they want to read or write. I also have this incesant need to stim? It's a physical need where when thinking too much I want to stand up, move around, go for a walk, etc. Very hard to describe. I've had it for as long as I can remember.. my parents never forced me to go to bed as a young child before I had the chance to
