Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello. I am completing the certificate in business but my major is in life science. My father has alzheimer's and my family and I recently had a doctor's appointment at the gain clinic on September 11th where we received news about his life expectancy and extreme decline that he will be experiencing and has already began experiencing. I am hoping to apply for medical school next year and wanted to take IDIS 480 and FREN 106 to enhance my application and meant to add these courses prior to the deadline but after receiving this news about my father, adding these two classes on solus slipped my mind. I am really hoping to still be able to take these courses and am commited to catching up with whatever work I may have missed during the first couple weeks of classes. Thank you.
