Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
My name is Austin and I am a 4th year physics major. I looked into taking Math 387 during the class enrollment period this summer but at the time I had a full semester of required physics classes I needed to take. More recently I have been communicating with the department and they have allowed me to swap; one of my requirements with a class next semester. Unfortunately this information did not reach me until today, after the deadline. I use elementary geometry principles regularly in physics and I think that a deeper/more mathematical exploration of these concepts would benefit me greatly. There is an additional hiccup that one of the lecture times overlaps with a tutorial in another class, however the tutorial in the other class is not mandatory and I will have no trouble making it to the required classes for either.

Academic Plan: To whom it may concern,
I will be met with academic success if I am allowed to enroll in this class. My strong work ethic and competency in mathematics would ensure I could catch up on all the covered content. I also believe I could complete any required/past deliverables for the class by the end of the week and be fully caught up by then. I would also contact the professor of the class upon enrollment to ensure I am on track to meet the course values.
