Petition Letter: Hi，
This is Yishan Ling, and my student number is 20235961. My life has been terrible this semester. I need the school to help me defer the LLCU203 course because the only assignment in this course is a forty-page final report. I have mental health issues after the day my roommate broke into my house with a gun. I was called a witness, and I went to the police station and made a record, so I have the police department incident number: 23-45953.
I felt very scared and anxious, so I am now unable to study and work normally. I have tried my best to get help from the Student Wellness Center and Student Help Center. After I contacted them, I was prescribed sleeping pills so that I could fall asleep.

The school's help center sent me a petition letter, hoping to help me complete this petition. I would like to know if I can ask for help to postpone this assignment or drop this class later and postpone it until next year. I have contacted the professor, and her attitude is supportive. I need your help. I hope you can help me withdraw or drop this course.
