Petition Letter: Hello,
I hope all is well. My name is Napoleon Persia Karroll (she/her), I am in my second year of Arts and Science and hoping to declare economics at the end of the Winter 2024 term. My student number is 20354628.
I am currently taking CISC 101 with Professor Powley. This is the second time I am taking this course, I took it for the first time in Winter 2023 and was quite ill due to a long-term illness that I have an academic accommodation for (QSAS). I decided to retake it this semester hoping to do well, but as I am still unfortunately experiencing a flare-up of my illness, I haven't been doing well and am having a hard time in the course. I am aware the deadline for dropping a course without a petition has passed & I do not want to fail for the second time and have to withdraw from courses next semester. I would like to drop the class so I can continue my studies here at Queen's. I have supporting documentation with QSAS and I would like to assure the school that this issue will not be reoccurring. Thank you for taking the time to consider my petition.
