Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I would like to be able to drop this course after the deadline. This past fall term, I took six classes trying to catch up but realized after the drop deadline that this was too difficult for me to do. I also came to the realization that I no longer wish to be a film major, as I do not want a degree in this subject, and have even seeking advice on how to graduate with just a BA degree instead of a BAH. From now on I do not want to take any more film courses, as I am interested in so many other classes and want to pursue those. If I am able to drop this class, which I did not submit assignments for, I would be extremely appreciative.
