Petition Letter: Dear Dr. Stephenson (Associate Dean, Academic),
I am petitioning to add an additional course to my Winter term courses. Currently, I am enrolled in six courses. However, I won't be participating in one of the courses (BCHM 310B: General Biochemistry), and I am unable to drop it. Therefore, practically, I will only be studying for five courses in the Winter term, and when an additional course is added, I will only be studying for six courses, not seven. To make sure that I have an adequate academic background in biochemistry, I want to add BIOL 334 (Comparative Biochemistry) to my Winter term courses. Although I have two Incompletes from the Summer term, I will finish these two courses during the deferred exams period at the beginning of the Winter term, from January 8th to January 12th. For these reasons I am requesting your permission to add BIOL 334 to my Winter term.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: For the Winter term 2024, I will be enrolled in BIOL 331, BIOL 334 (if my petition is successful), EPID 301, FREN 118, LAW 201 and PHIL 111B. For the Summer term 2024, I plan to enroll in LAW 202 and LAW 704. For Fall term 2024, I plan to enroll in ENGL 161, FREN 225, LAW 707, MATH 111A, NSCI 323 and PHGY 350. For Winter term 2025 I plan to enroll in ENGL 162, FREN 236, LISC 595, MATH 111B and NSCI 403. This plan will allow to complete the requirements for my Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Life Sciences, Certificate in Law and French Certificate for Professionals by the end of my fourth year and provide me with the relevant strong academic background for graduate or professional programs.
