Unfortunately, I was not able to secure a spot in HLTH 230 until the evening of the course dropping deadline, at around 3 pm. As I hadn't checked my email until the next morning, I was unaware of my advancement from the waitlist. This delay in receiving confirmation created a time-sensitive situation, as I did not want to compromise my academic progression.

Understanding the importance of adhering to university policies, I sincerely request your understanding and consideration in granting an exception to the late drop policy for ARTH 212. I assure that my commitment to the academic requirements and standards of Queen's University remains unwavering, and I am dedicated to fulfilling all course responsibilities promptly.
