Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean

During the last academic term, my family had an very unpleasant incident. someone broke in the house and stole tenth of thousands worth of goods along with some photo ID and credit cards. the criminal is also left a knife on the bed luckily no one was home by the time he left. we did call the police and file the case. the case number is 20152251. we were terrified and depressed. we had to call all the related authorities and make change of security details. This is exhausting and depressed. losing valuable stuff, solving problems, deal with authorities and fear of the criminals made me have no more energy on the course work. Also my mom is scheduled stomach surgery around the exam period but then rescheduled to this month by the notice of the night before the scheduled surgery date. I was worried about the family matters therefore failed two of my 5 courses. Math 413 and Math 328. I would like to appeal to remove these two failed courses and take them next year. Please consider my situation, Thank you
