Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am looking to drop the core course for my MAPP program this semester due to extenuating circumstances beyond my control. My mental health has been a struggle for me throughout my entire university career and I am looking to better myself - it had presented an issue and prevented me from completing work and being present in class throughout the semester, especially with this course. I will be taking this course again next year and will be on track to finishing my MAPP degree. I have ambitions as a multi-disciplinary artist and this program is a perfect place for me to exercise my ideas, although it has been difficult for me to break away from my personal setbacks I am confident that going forward I will be much involved.
