Petition Letter: Hi there,
I am a first year student who has been finding the course MATH 121 very difficult I came into this semester positive that I can do well but realized very late that the outcome might be different I am planning to declare Economics but I won't be able to as if i fail this course my GPA would be far to low to even be considered and I would like to drop it understanding that a DR will be on my transcript I am planning to still take MATH 126 in the upcoming year as it is a requirement for the degree plan econ. I understand that this is quite late to ask for a drop but please consider my request as I have had a rocky start at queens but I want to persevere and do better in my following years here.
