Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello, I apologize for being late on dropping this class. I meant to so before the deadline but very recently lost a close family member and haven't been doing well because of it. I have not been able to focus much on my studies, my work although trying to catch up now, which has made me very stressed and I must have forgotten the deadline to withdraw from a class during it all. I am really hoping I am able to drop this course. Please let me know if you need any other supporting documentation. I have a death certificate as documentation if needed. I appreciate your consideration, thank you.
