Petition Letter: My name is Tammy Luk. I am currently a first year student here at Queens University in Classics and Archeology. Last semester, I took ASTR 101 and was disappointed in the results as it has greatly affected my GPA. I wanted to know if I could drop this course, as I deeply care about my grades. I was in my first semester of my first year and have been navigating the University lifestyle while figuring out what I enjoy studying most. Due to this occurrence, I have obtained a mentor who has been helping me get my GPA back up. Unfortunately, astronomy is not a strength of mine and was an outlier on my transcript.
