Subject: Petition to Withdraw from CISC 223 Course
Dear Associate Dean,
I hope you are well. I am writing to ask for a possible withdrawal from CISC 223. I have been facing some difficult academic challenges this semester that are making it really hard to keep up with the workload.
Things have not worked out in CISC 223, and my grades are reflecting that situation. I am worried that if I keep struggling in that course, I might end up failing it altogether. Continuing feels overwhelming right now, and I do not want to drag down my GPA in other classes.
I know it is past the usual drop deadline, but I believe my situation is a bit unusual. I am also aware and ready to still pay for the fees due in that course as I have completed most of it.
Withdrawing would not be an easy decision, but I think it is the best call for me right now. I am still committed to doing well in school, and I plan to use the resources available to figure out what went wrong in CISC 223 so I can avoid similar issues in the future and retake the course during the next fall semester.
I would appreciate it if you would perhaps consider my petition and demand.
