Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: My name is Matthew Kong and I am currently in the life sciences program. I asking for permission to enroll in ANAT 100 and ANAT 380 for the 2024 summer terms. I looked on the course information website and it showed that ANAT 215 and ANAT 216 are prerequisites for ANAT 380, and I have not taken ANAT 216, but I have taken 215. Due to extenuating circumstances (including a close family member passing away) and other course conflicts, I have not been able to take ANAT 216, which is not available in the summer terms. Additionally, the course website also states that solely ANAT 100 is a prerequisite for ANAT 380. Therefore, I am wondering if I would be able to take ANAT 100 as a prerequisite, even though I already took the exclusion ANAT 215, which will also allow me to take ANAT 380.
