Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally request a withdrawal from CISC101 despite the passing of the academic deadline.
Over the past months, I have been battling major depressive disorder, which has significantly impacted my academic performance and overall well-being. Additionally, I have been facing substance abuse issues that stemmed from my mental health struggles. These challenges have made it extremely difficult for me to keep up with my coursework and perform to the best of my abilities.
I have been actively seeking help and am currently undergoing therapy to address these issues. However, despite my best efforts, the severity of my condition has prevented me from successfully managing the demands of my course load this semester.
Given these circumstances, I would greatly appreciate your understanding and leniency in allowing me to withdraw from CISC 101 to focus on my health and recovery. I believe this step is crucial for my long-term academic success and personal well-being.
Please let me know if there are any additional steps or documentation required to process this request. I am more than willing to provide any necessary medical documentation or to discuss my situation further if needed.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
