Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally request enrollment in Cisc181 for the summer semester.
I previously enrolled in this course from the waitlist, unfortunately, I accidentally dropped it. As I am approaching my final year. Because of the lack of credits, if I do not take a course during the summer, I will not have enough credits to graduate. So taking this course is critical for fulfilling my graduation requirements.
Upon reviewing the current enrollment status, it appears that the course still has available spots. Additionally, I have a deep interest in the subject matter of Cisc181, and I believe that the knowledge and skills gained from this course will be highly beneficial for my future career.
Given my urgent need to complete this course and my commitment to improving my performance, I earnestly request that you allow me to enroll in this course. This opportunity is crucial for my academic progression and timely graduation.
I assure you that I am dedicated to putting in the necessary effort and utilizing available resources to succeed in this course. Your consideration and assistance in this matter would mean a great deal to me.
I included support letters from the class instructor and the undergraduate chair of computing in the documents.
Thank you very much for your time and understanding. I look forward to your favourable response.
Sincerely,
Chengxi Wang

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I recognize the importance of not only enrolling in cisc181 but also ensuring that I achieve a satisfactory grade. To this end, I have devised a comprehensive academic plan that addresses both my academic commitments and any extenuating circumstances.
1. Improved Time Management: I will create a detailed weekly schedule that allocates specific times for attending classes, studying, completing assignments, and reviewing course materials. This schedule will help me stay organized and ensure that I dedicate sufficient time to each of my courses.
2. Lighter Course Load: To ensure that I can focus more on this course, I will only be taking 1 course this summer which is this course. This adjustment will allow me to dedicate more time and effort to mastering the course content.
3. Health and Wellness: I will prioritize my physical and mental health by maintaining a regular exercise routine, eating a balanced diet, and getting adequate sleep. I understand that a healthy lifestyle is crucial for optimal academic performance.
By implementing these strategies, I am confident that I will be able to succeed in Film260 and complete my graduation requirements on time. I am committed to making the necessary adjustments and putting in the required effort to achieve my academic goals.
