Petition Letter: Good Evening,
I am writing this letter to you to ask for permission to return back to my studies. In academic school year of 2022-2023 I went through a lot. I loss a few family members and was struggling in my home and dealing with a lot mentally. I did things that I am not proud of which cause me a breach of academic integrity as well as since so much was going on my grades suffered tremendously. I was received a letter August 2023 that states to withdraw for a year due to my low gpa. Since then I have been out of school and have completed my full year of not being in school. It has been the hardest year ever not being in school but I am now back and I was told that I would need to take another year off for breach of integrity. I understand my actions were horrible but I was told I would only be out for a year due to my low gpa and I have reflected and done a lot to be better to start the school year. I would love to be back at school and taking classes since its been a year. school is truly all I have and I need to be back. I have taken the year like I was told but I'm asking if there is a way I could return to my studies. I have gone through to much emotionally and mentally to take another year off even tho I have been back and was told Its only one year of academic witdraw. please consider my petition, I have never needed or wanted to be back taking classes as badly as I do and I really need this so I can start to make a new chapter here at queens.
