Petition Letter: I would like to be enrolled into these courses because even though they may be full, these are two faculty related online open electives that Queens offers, and I am looking to take specifically open online electives to satiate my remaining elective course units so I can graduate come 2025. It has been a long battle on my graduation path with numerous roadblocks, (ie: the pandemic, 2021-2023 Head injury concussion, RTW 2023-2024) and now choosing not to return to Kingston as it is not financially feasible for my situation, I have chosen to continue studies online. There are not alot of art sci related courses offered as open online electives, which is why these two courses are so important to get into because 1) Limited options online 2) These are for remaining elective units, something I am choosing to do remotely and therefore am picking my options from the courses Queens has available.
I would like to be enrolled in IDIS173 and IDIS199 because these two electives would create a good school workload while also working part time in Toronto to sustain my life here.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: my academic plan is to take these two online courses, and in the new year 2025 either find a sublet in Kingston to take the remaining of my courses in perosn, where there are more options for which courses to choose from. Or, come 2025 I would improve my GPA via these courses, and petition to take the remaining of my courses at another university under the conditions that the class format or teaching style may be more accessible, if living in Kingston is not an option for me. However, due to my low cumilitive GPA there are barriers to taking open courses, as well as petition that the elective courses would surpass 6.0 Unit courses, and petition queens to recognize more than 6.0 units taken at another educational institution. There-in is my dilema in this situation, the options are stay with Queens in doing online electives that they offer to satisfy remaining open elective course units, or to try somewhere else that has more open online electives, but petition for Queens to recognize up to, or more than 6.0 Units completed elsewhere from Queens.
