Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I was intending to switch electives to fit my current workload. I am in the process of applying to law schools and my previous elective was too demanding of a workload. My tuition payment was late but was just processed; however, there was a hold on my account which limited me from adding my prospective course. I am hoping to enroll in this course as it will provide me with a comprehensive and diverse understanding of indigenous communities, an area of law which I am quite interested in pursuing. I have expressed these concerns with the professor, and she has given me an extension on an assignment if this request is successful. Thank you for your consideration.
