Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I hope this petition reaches you in good faith. There was an accidental block placed on my Solus during enrollment period around August. When I talked to an academic advisor, she had removed the block for me to be able to enroll into my classes. I managed to enroll in 3 classes before being put on another block for “late fees” which they later on realized was a mistake on their part. On the 12th of September, they sent me another email letting me know they had removed the block since it was accidental but when I tried to enroll into EMPR 100, it was still prompting me that I am blocked. I talked to another academic advisor yesterday and she had advised me to petition for a late addition for a class. Solus is showing me there is 1 seat available in each class offered. I am on academic probation and taking classes like EMPR 100 that I didn’t do so well previously would really allow me to redeem myself academically and raise my GPA. I want to put in my utmost effort into fixing my academics and being EMPR would help me out a lot.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I have had some time in the past 3 weeks to evaluate whether I would be able to handle the course load and I believe I would be able to handle this class well. I am familiar with the course already since I already took it once. I know I have to focus more on the participation aspect to succeed in this class and will be able to give this course my 100% given I am making sure to not take a high course load. I understand it is my full responsibility that I have missed some important lectures and need to catch up as soon as possible.
