Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello. My name is Elizabeth Fullerton and I am trying to drop a Music course. I only realized that the course needed to be dropped by a faculty member 4 hours ago from writing this (it is currently 10:02, Monday October 28th, 2024). I would like to not have any academic penalty for dropping MUSC 322, as it is out of my hands to drop it by today. I know it was late of me to do it at this time, but I planned on talking with my instructor about my decision, which we did at 6pm today. I have been struggling with anxiety and it has been hard for me to get out of the house to go practice, something this course heavily requires. Please help a girl out as it is out of my hands.
