Petition Letter
Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
Hello, my name is Sydney Woodcock. I hope all is well! I am in my first year at queens as a student athlete. ANAT 100 has been my first online class at a university level. I had handed in my first online assignment and carefully followed instructions a day or two before the deadline. I had expected to do very well on this assignment because I had worked really hard on it and put lots of time into it. Once I received my mark I was extremely disappointed as I had failed the assignment. I wasn't sure how this was even possible and was very upset. The audio for my online slideshow did not work and therefore almost all of my information was left out. I was only able to demonstrate what was on the slides, which was a small list of bullet point and some images. Also, the audio contained the discussion questions included in the marking, which I got a 0 for. I have messaged my TA and those above them and all they have said is that it is my fault and there's nothing I am able to do about it. I have been very frustrated because I think that in this case where I handed it in early, you could see the audio was done it just was not playing, and I got a 43 without almost all of my information goes to show that I put in the effort and was prepared, it was just a small technical error as it was my first online assignment. I disagree with how this has been dealt with and wanted to see if there's anything else I can do as this assignment is worth a large portion of my grade and I put a lot of effort into it just to get punished for a technical error. Thank you for your time.
