I hope you are doing well. My name is Seayrohn Shelvachandren (Student ID: 20393454) and I am a second year Health Sciences student interested in taking ANIM 200. I joined the waitlist several weeks ago in the hopes of joining the course, and was finally number one on the waitlist just recently. On the 18th, a spot in the course opened up as someone dropped it, but since the 17th was the last day to enroll in new courses, I wasn't able to join in time unfortunately. I am really interested in taking this course if possible, and would greatly appreciate it if you were able to help me out with this. Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I have taken a look at the course syllabus already and will be sure to catch up on any work that I would have thus far missed. I also plan on contacting the course instructor Glenn Gear and teaching team directly to ensure there will be no academic penalty for missing the first few weeks due to not being enrolled in the course, and will ensure to complete any extra credit as necessary to demonstrate my commitment towards the course material. As seen through my academic standing, I am generally a very hard-working and committed student, and I am confident I will be able to passionately succeed in the course despite my absence in the first few weeks if given the opportunity.
