Petition Letter: I am limited because of my academic restrictions. So I can only complete 9units of credit this semester. But I have one class that has been in the shopping cart, making it impossible for me to have an alternative. So I've been having two classes this semester. But I need one more class to become a full time student so I can apply for a new study permit. So I am applying to add another class.
I have contacted Prof. Rebecca Manley. She has space available in her HIST 246 course and she has agreed to add me.
Below is the letter back from Prof. Rebecca Manley:
Hi Yuqi,
I would be happy to welcome you into the course. You have missed a number of classes, but I can make the missed lectures available. Most pressingly, there is a first assignment due on Sunday, although all students have three grace days to be used as needed between this first assignment and the second paper.
Please consider this an official approval on my part, and keep me posted.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: The reason I chose this course is besides the fact that I need to get three classes together to become a full-time student and apply for a study permit. I also need to raise my GPA, I have asked Heather charter and Daralyn Auld from academic help and they have suggested that I retake the class HIST246 due to the fact that I did not do well in this class before so I can use this opportunity to raise my GPA.
