Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I am writing to formally petition for enrolment in CISC 124 for the winter semester,2025, despite missing the course add deadline.

Due to health issues last semester, I had to defer my CISC 124 exam, which I wrote on January 18th during the deferred exam period. However, I did not receive my final grade until January 24th. Since the last day to add a course was January 17th, this delay prevented me from enrolling in CISC 124 in a timely manner.

I recognise the importance of adhering to academic deadlines, but the circumstances were beyond my control. I am fully committed to retaking CISC 124 this semester and achieving the required grade. Given my situation, I kindly request an exception to allow me to enrol in the course.

I would greatly appreciate your consideration of this request. I am attaching the instructor’s approval, and I am happy to provide any additional information or documentation if needed.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: I understand that catching up on the missed course material will be necessary but I can assure you that I am totally devoted to invest the required time and work for it. I have started reviewing the course outline and studying the initial topics independently as well. I am confident in my ability to manage the workload effectively and successfully complete the course.
