Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I am writing in hopes that I can have an appeal to allowed into the course ENIN 140 at this point in the semester. I am a 5th year student, in need of one final elective to graduate this term. I was only made aware of this issue yesterday as I was trying to apply for a Master's program at Queen's, as I was under the impression that I had already met my elective requirements. When working with an advisor in the athletics department last year I was told all I needed was to take 3 courses in the fall to meet the credits I needed. Unfortunately there was a mistake made on both my end and the advisors end to let this come this far, and I am hoping that I can make this work for the winter semester.
I have reached out to Professor Sidneyeve Matrix, who teaches the online course ENIN140, and she wrote back to me saying she gives me permission to join the course late. And is confident I would be able to catch up on course work so that I can meet the requirements to pass the course.
I understand deadlines have passed but wanted to continue to pursue this issue in hopes that I can have it resolved, as it is the final credit I need to complete my undergrad in a timely manner.
