Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Dear staff, I am a student majoring in Chemistry. Due to my weak comprehension and low conversion efficiency, I need to work harder than others to pass the courses. I took Chemistry 212 and 213 twice before passing them, and I also failed Chemistry 223 three times. I did not give up and kept working hard. However, due to the failure of the main course, I was unable to graduate on time. In order to graduate as soon as possible, I want to take elective courses by taking credits outside the school so that I can focus more on the required courses on campus.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: According to my degree plan, I still need to take 300-level and 400-level courses. This will be a huge challenge for me. I hope to take elective courses outside the school and transfer credits so that I can focus more on studying my major courses during the fall and winter semesters on campus and try to pass them in one go.

I am a full-time student. During school, I strictly abide by the working conditions of the student visa of no more than 20 hours a week, and save living expenses to face the force majeure of food shortage.
As for how to make my grades better or how to prepare for my exams. I have participated in the reading and writing group organized by QUIC to improve my communication and writing skills. In addition, I occasionally contact academic advisors or SWS psychological counselors to seek solutions for different periods of time.
