Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello
I had previously submitted a petition for these dates and it was denied, I understand this means there is an increased chance this too will be denied. However, new information has come to light that I believe would affect the outcome of the final decision.

My name is Matteo Ienzi and I am submitting this appeal to waive the credit standing deadline and be able to have these courses looked at.
CHEM 112B, PHYS 117B, and MATH 121B in the winter 2022 term.
BIOL 205, BIOL 212, BIOL 243, and CHEM 281 in the fall 2022 term.
And BIOL 200, and BIOL 206 in the winter 2023 term.

I have attached all previous documentation as well as the new information.

The new information being that on November 21, 2024 I was diagnosed with Level 1 ASD as well as ADHD.

I did not receive treatment for ADHD till February 26, 2025 which I have now been taking for approximately a month.

This means that during the periods of the appeal, and as to why I was inhibited, I was preforming with undiagnosed and untreated mental disorders, and I couldn't submit an appeal at the time as I did not have a formal diagnosis. Furthermore, I wished to wait till I began receiving treatment for a period of time before resubmitting the appeal.
