Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean,

I would like to formally request a CR (Credit) notation for the two courses listed above, taken during the Winter 2025 semester.

Due to the labour dispute and TA strike that took place throughout the Winter 2025 semester, I experienced significant academic disruption. The lack of timely feedback and support on key assignments negatively affected my ability to perform to the best of my abilities in these courses. Despite my continued efforts and engagement, the challenges beyond my control impacted my final grades, which do not accurately reflect my potential or commitment.

I would be sincerely grateful for your consideration in allowing a CR grade to be applied, to mitigate the impact of these extenuating circumstances.
