Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: To begin with, I did not have any extenuating circumstance. I just feel as though I deserved a greater grade than I have received. I finished all questions on the exam with moderate confidence, I needed a 24% on the final to pass the course, and yet i received a 12.5%. I dont believe my answers were entirely correct but I believe they were partially correct however I never received part marks which I believe is incredibly harsh and out of the ordinary for a CISC exam, especially considering I got an A- with ease in CISC 121, the difference was in professors. I have taken AP Java in highschool so I feel like i knew what i was doing. Yet, i got a 12.5%, there has to be something wrong, maybe it is because I have a muslim name? I am unsure and I dont want to throw accusations, but I would greatly appreciate a second look by a different professor or TA because after I asked the professor for a regrade, I was not responded to and continue to be not responded to. Thank you.
