Petition Letter
Petition Letter: This is late, after the course, but I was unaware of this option.
I am sorry in advanced if i'm in the wrong, but I strongly believe otherwise.
I did an assignment for my course, an infographic, which requires a coding to put online.
I did the assignment and questionnaire on time, i can provide evidence of that off of moodle.
I did not realize I put in an incorrect number in the code, which lead to my upload of the assignment being stretched very widley that it is difficult to read.
I got a 0 for that, but I emailed the professor asking if I could at least get a 50 or an acknowledgment that I did complete the assignment on time, because it is worth a significant amount. I did all the work I had to do. I have offered to email it to her or figure out another way.
I understand and respect her policies on why I was not allowed to do so, and why it really is an issue that I punched in the wrong code, even if it was just a number or two.
I was intending to indeed make the project physically wider, but it stretched too far
but due to the fact that I did the assignment on time, and met the requirements, I believe I should at least have the assignment acknowledged as opposed to a flat 0. I passed the final, and all. This assignment alone is 20 of our final grade, and receiving a 0 on something I did on time, with one mistake that I tried to make up for, is bringing me down a lot, and just the acknowledgment of the assignment instead of counting that 20as a 0 would make a significantly huge positive impact, even if I just got a 50 on it.
Thank you for your consideration, I hope to hear from you soon.
