To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to request consideration regarding my academic standing and the requirement of withdrawing from school for 1 year.
I have struggled considerably this year with my mental health and subsequently with my ability to organize my time and demonstrate my academic ability. My Psychologist has provided a supplementary letter as well.
I am requesting the opportunity to continue my studies at Queens in Fall 2025 with a plan that includes a reduced course load, weekly psychotherapy and the utilization of Queen’s Academic Advising supports. I have an appointment set with an Academic Advisor for June 9th at 2:30 to determine my options for course load and supports.

In consultation with my Psychologist, my intention is to take a reduced academic course load beginning in Fall 2025. I will also meet weekly with my Psychologist and bi-weekly with an academic advisor.
